White frost

Hello! Oh gosh, where do I start? I haven't done a post for ages now (im a very bad blogger). Well to be honest I've not been able to find the time. So much has changed for me over these postless months but I can vow now I will be posting again. Why? Well I recently bought the new Samsung galaxy s4 to replace my old blackberry, it was actually through reading a review from another blogger that I thought about buying it. I have been desperate for a new phone for months now but there is so much choice, I didn't know where to start. But i saw the review after searching for info about the phone and thought I would just go for it. And wow! I can honestly say this phone, or rather amazing piece of technology, is perfect! And not to start any debate but I think it's better than the iphone, eek!

Curious?

Well here's my opinions on it...
Firstly I bought the s4 in white frost with 16 gb memory. But the great thing is you can add to the memory if you should need more.
Another brilliant feature, and one of the most important for me was the camera. I am into photography and like taking pictures where ever I go. And this camera is just amazing in all lighting and has various modes to suit your environment. The images I get are so crisp and clear even on video recording.  So I'm definitely going to use this camera for everything in my blog from now on, and maybe video's.

It has loads of other little features I like too; such as using motions and gestures to control it, it has a clever little thing too when you are on a webpage it senses when you are looking at it so if you look down the page will scroll down and vice versa, yay!

The touch screen was a big adjustment to get used to for me but I'm picking it up quickly, though texting was at first frustrating.
I am still figuring out a lot of things on it but it is easy and fun to explore. I think the best part is that I'll be able to update my blog on the go for the first time which is exciting. I have also downloaded other things like instagram which would have been useless on my old blackberry.
Speaking of instagram I need a cute name to register with would love to hear any thoughts.
But for now I'd definitely give the s4 5 stars, it may be expensive and I admit it is a lot more than I'd have liked to spend on a phone but it truly is a life companion. But if I have any issues with it I'll be sure to update.

Hope this helped anyone wondering about the s4 feel free to contact me if you want to know anything else, I'll help where I can :)

Bai for now!

They're Real

Hello beauts,
In my last post I showed a present I got as some false lashes. Truth is I'm awful at applying falsies and don't find them very comfortable. I will probably give them a try at some point though. Anyway I started using this mascara by Benefit and it's absolutely amazing! It really gives that false lash effect. Benefit are a cosmetics company which started in San Francisco. They are now hugely popular and loved here in the UK. I really like the Benefit makeup and have bought several products from them, one of my faves is their primer, POREfessional. But here are a few pics of the mascara after application:

Sorry I haven't taken any 'before pics' for comparison but believe me my lashes are sososo much longer (if you can't tell already!). I might use a bit less mascara next time as they started to look a bit spidery.

The mascara is called They're Real. You can get it from the official Benefit cosmetics website. I know it's also available from Boots and Debenhams, and is a little bit pricey at £18.50 (In comparison to mascara I have bought in the past). I bought from Debenhams after having tried it on by a makeup artist there. Overall this mascara is a good investment and is one of the best I have ever used. If you have tried it or have it, love it or hate it-
LEMME KNOW.

12/12

Hey beauts :*

Happy belated new year just want to share with you some things I got for Christmas :3. Unfortunately I am suffering severely from the January blues so can't day this will be the most detailed of posts, but might be long since I have to catch up on a bit - and yes I am aware it is nearly the end of January haha. Any way I had a lovely Christmas at my boyfriends mums house. She has a massive, stunning farmhouse surrounded by fields, which was helpful as there were a lot of us round that day, we even had take turns for Christmas dinner 'cause the table wasn't big enough for everyone to eat at one time! I only ended up eating around 7 pm having not eaten all day I was staaarving. Well worth the wait though :)

I also forgot mention she owns about 10 dogs, and one had just given birth to a few pups, but one nearly died and was so small compared to others. She wasn't getting any milk 'cause the other pups so she had to be hand fed. Luckily she's fine now and becoming bigger and healthy. ^_^

She is so cute and tiny right? :3

As well as what I got up to at Christmas, just want to show you all a few presents I got too :)
So here they are:
Oh and I'm sorry some pictures haven't been rotated.

Every year I get a pair of jarmies, these are the comfiest yet! :p

GIANT PIG SLIPPER

It's beautiful and very flattering on makes my waist looks smaller. I think the only con is that I find I need to pull it down a lot this might be because I've quite big hips, or I'm tall, which I'm not that tall or because the leggings I'm wearing with it but just note it is short, but this may not apply to shorter petite ladies :)

My boyfriend got me this for my watches, since they were just lying about all over the place, quite handy :3

This is a really good nail polish, it takes ages to chip and the colour is stunning. It can change from an olive greeny colour to a blue depending on how the light hits it. It is prominently green as that is the colour seen when the light hits it. That's my opinion any way and I would say a must buy :)

I also got these PS3 games as well as a Nintendo Wii, Wii Sports, Wii fit and a Resident Evil game. Plus I got Sims 3, Katy Perry Sweet Treats and Supernatural which are really good fun playing. So I will be a happy girly for a long time.

Oh, and to those to got snow in their area hope you enjoyed it ^^
Feels like Christmas came late!

Just keep swimming.

Hello :)
Hope you are well lovelies
I'm just having a quiet Sunday so going to do a lil update.

I went to this restaurant with my mum, stepdad and boyfriend on Thursday, my mum insists we eat here on every birthday or similar occassion -.-

I wore just plain black leggings with a small heeled shoe/boot and my pale pink blouse from H&M, oh and my watch by Ice. I usually wear bigger heels but I am just a tiny bit taller than my boyfriend so I feel like a giant next to him in my high heels :(
I didn't really want to dress up much anyway, it was a quiet evening so it didn't matter too much. The bag I have is one I use most of the time, unless i have some extra things I need to take which won't fit in, in which case I will use a larger one one. But this is one of my favourites, it's so versatile and works with a lot of my wardrobe, it was from my local market for £10.

They had this long tank by some of the tables so I was taking some pictures of the fish they had some weird ones in there but they kept hiding.

How I forgot to take photo's of the best part (FOOD) I do not know, maybe 'cause I was super hungry ^_^

Anyway I had some Jasmine tea after the meal which is so yummy :)

Yesterday I went to help my boyfriend with the Christmas shopping which he had barely started. We managed to get most of it done thankfully. Then we went to the cinema to watch The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey which was really good  and quite funny, definitely worth watching. We then went for something to eat at Pizza hut and he also surprised me with an early present aww :)

I admit I much prefer action games than these horror type games, I just completed Red Dead Redemption which is a very good game and storyline. But he knows I love Silent hill, the movies, but I have only played on one of  the games once and got really freaked out. But that was years ago. So I thought I'd give it a go..

..I managed half an hour, if that.
I got really scared playing this by myself, I am not usually a wimp when it comes to horror I have seen a lot scarier films but when it comes to playing scary video games it's another story. Yet I am determined I am to complete it, maybe I will listen to some upbeat music whilst playing it haha!

I got my nails done yesterday too. I did want to get something Christmassy like red with ribbons and bows on so they look like presents but I thought it's best to get something wintery instead because it will probably look dumb after Christmas otherwise. So I went a little dark with a jet black and lots of sparkles :)
I had a few silver snowflake stickers put on too, I wish I had white to stand out more but they are still very pretty anyway. What d'you think? ^_^

Ooooo Christmas eve is tomorrow, I'm sososo excited.
I will be posting different things in the new year, not gonna tell, so check back soon :)
Just want to wish you's a Merry Christmas if I don't post tomorrow too.
So, Merry Christmas girlies, hope you have a lovely one.
Love, Zoë

Leaving you with a catchy classic ;)

6 more sleeps

Hey, so only 6 more sleeps 'til Christmas who's excited?! I feel like a big kid haha. All preparations nearly done, just got to wrap a couple more presents. And need to get my nails done I need some Christmassy ideas for them hmm.
Anyway I had my final day in college today so since all the work was done we put on a little buffet ;)

Everyone brought some food in and we all chucked in a couple of quid to buy our tutor bunch of flowers and   a card with chocolates. To our surprise she also got everyone a little Christmas bag too which was sweet. Only took a couple pics here of the buffet, I have been so tired, lazy and fat today...

Was very yummy but not all eaten so I took a couple of cakes home :3

Anyway I will do an update at the weekend at some point but going to go see a couple of my friends tomorrow and Friday. And it's also my stepdad's birthday tomorrow so we're going for a meal. Can you believe I couldn't find a card anywhere with stepdad on the front! ?

So anyways if you're reading hope you have a nice Christmas all the best :)
Much love

Zoë x

Lenses!

Hey girlies,
firstly I apologise for not doing any posts in the last couple weeks, I have been really ill with a flu type thing and had no energy whatsoever. Spent last week coughing my guts up, so not pretty! I just got a bit of a sore throat still but I am a lot better so thought I would do this post.
I got bored of wearing my green lenses all the time so I decided get some new ones I wanted to get more natural looking colour so I got brown, which is also my natural eye colour. I got a diameter of 14.5 so my eyes will still stand out yet be natural for a change. The previous ones I wore were by Geo they aren't the most comfortable but they are good lenses and the colour is really nice. I get my lenses from Honey Color. Never had a problem with them always delivered on time and well packaged. They also give you a cute free lens case with every pair of lenses purchased. I have a collection building up...

Anyway I got these lenses by Hyper, in the platinum series. They are called Hyper Platinum Brown and cost me £14.09 with £12 extra for express shipping (4 working days).

They came in this box
inside were these 2 containers containing the lenses in solution. - I took this after I had removed the metal lids which seal them in properly.

With them I got this cute frog contact lens case ^__^

And this is how they look on my eyes...

Well they actually look a lot darker but the camera flash makes them look lighter hence making my pupils look really big haha! I wasn't sure about these lenses when I first tried them, I thought they were a bit alien like, but after wearing them a few times I like them a lot. They have a natural colour and give that cute big eye look :) They are so comfy,I have worn them for 8 hours and my eyes do not feel dry or irritated at all.
Just realised this is my first review :o
Sorry if it's not great or very informative just wanted to share :)

Here are some other pics :)

ta-rah for now :) xxx
